PORTLAND, Maine — Speaking before a record crowd of credit union representatives at the Maine Credit Union League's Annual Legislative Forum last week, John Zogby, a world-renowned political pollster and analyst said credit unions have the pulse of the communities they serve.

Speaking to nearly 90 credit union attendees, Zogby told his audience, "Credit unions' connection to the community provides a clear perspective of what the real people are thinking and issues that are important to them. Credit unions are often a microcosm of the communities they serve."

Zogby shared his insights into the current political environment and discussed the challenges facing both political parties on Election Day.
