"I love gridlock. It means the government can't screw things up," Political Commentator Larry Sabato told attendees of NAFCU's Congressional Caucus last week in discussing the upcoming elections. He said he expects the Democrats to pick up 12-15 seats in the House (15 are needed for them to take the majority) observing the political landscape 50 days out. In the Senate, he said the Dems are almost guaranteed to pick up three seats, but it is "highly unlikely" they will pic up the six they need to take back the majority there.
