THE WOODLANDS, Texas — Leaders from D. Hilton Associates recently took it to the net to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
DHA Executive Vice Presidents Debbie Hilton and John Andrews joined DHA President/CEO David Hilton courtside during the 10th Anniversary of the Michael Jordan sponsored Senior Flight School tournament held in Las Vegas. While working on jump shots they had an opportunity to get rebound tips from NBA legend and Hall of Famer Bill Walton.
Standing next to Walton, Debbie Hilton says the size difference can serve as a reminder of the difference between credit unions and banks.

"The obvious discrepancy in size makes me think of the inherent differences between credit unions and banks. The three largest bank holding companies all have over a trillion dollars in assets–how can a bank that large serve the individual consumer? It's impossible to consider a bank executive truly caring about a consumer loan the way a credit union executive cares about a member. It just goes to show, size doesn't matter, especially when it comes to service," said Hilton.
