FORT WORTH, Texas — Unity One Federal Credit Union is takingconsumers back to “school” this fall by offering free financialeducation classes.

The classes, which will begin on September 11 and continuethrough December, and will cover six topics with a meeting everyother Monday. Classes will be taught in Spanish and limited to 20students. Free childcare for students attending the classes will beavailable.

Topics covered include: How to Use a Financial Institution, Howto Increase my Savings and Write a Budget, How to Use Credit, Howto Buy a Car, How to Buy a Home and Introduction to Taxes.

Students completing all six hour-long sessions of the programwill receive a special certification of completion for theiraccomplishments, followed by a reception for students and theirfamilies.

“We hope to reach as many people as possible to help them learnhow to reach their personal financial goals,” said Northside BranchManager Joe Martinez.
