USA Federal Credit Union, San Diego, recently announced the seven recipients who will receive $1,500 Martin P. Cassell Scholarships. The recipients live in Japan, California and Sicily, but all have families who are members of the credit union. The Martin P. Cassell Scholarship is named after USA Federal's former CEO who died in a tragic automobile accident in 2000. Applicants are typically noted by high academic, athletic, cultural and community distinction. The winners are: Diane Abcede (Sicily); Holly Aguigam; Maureen Alcock; Mario Davis; Noah Debonis (Japan); Veronica Jones (Japan); and Christy Tucker (Japan).
