WALTHAM, Mass. — Thanks to Annual Charity Golf Tournament sponsor Pro-Teck Services, Digital Federal Credit Union's charitable foundation DCU for Kids has recently raised over $270,000 for the Boomer Esiason Foundation. The Boomer Esiason Foundation supports work to heighten education and awareness of cystic fibrosis and to provide a better quality of life for those battling the disease.

The funds raised will go toward research for the treatment of cystic fibrosis.

Esiason himself attended the event with his son Gunner, who was diagnosed at age two with cystic fibrosis. The tournament, held at Wedgwood Pines Country Club in Stow, Massachusetts, included over 132 golfers.
