SYDNEY, Australia — Current Chief Financial Officer Michael Tuffy has been named CEO of CUNA Mutual Group's Australia operations.
Effective December 8, Tuffy will replace Mike McCarthy who has served as CEO since 1999 and will continue in a consulting role in the areas of strategic development and execution with existing and new relationships within the Australian market.
"Internal succession is our preferred succession strategy, and we are fortunate at present to have developed a strong internal team well versed in what our customers want, how we need to service those needs, and how to price our products to ensure a sustainable and dynamic business in Australia," said McCarthy
