ST. LOUIS — With other financial institutions vying for the affections of members, 10 corporates teamed up to encourage CUs to compete.

On November 15-17, 2007 at the Millennium Hotel in St. Louis, the corporate credit union joint conference, "Dare To Compete," will address timely questions like: How do credit unions become more competitive? How can credit unions be successful competing against larger institutions? And what are the secrets to a successful operation?

The conference will feature speakers both inside and outside the credit union movement who will present attendees a view they may not typically see. The conference will also include a panel discussion among credit union CEOs who represent some of the fastest growing credit unions in the nation, both in terms of numbers of members as well as assets. They will share with the audience the key elements that have enabled them to achieve strong growth organically, not by merger.
