COLUMBUS, Ohio — Members First Credit Union is showing its dedication to “green” by hosting its first annual E-Recycling week. The credit union has partnered with Ohio Computer Recycling of Columbus for the event. MFCU members and residents of the community are encouraged to bring items such as personal computers, business computers, cell phones, servers, printers, monitors, all computer peripherals such as keyboards mouse pads, and network equipment to be recycled and disposed of properly. Shredding services will also be available for those wanting to destroy personal financial or sensitive documents. Those who bring materials will be provided an authorized certificate of disposal. Credit union members can participate for free and nonmembers will be charged $5 for the disposal services. The event is also open to local businesses.
