MAPLE GROVE, Minn. – As temperatures soared up to 100 degrees,TopLine Federal Credit Union helped the 18th annual Maple GroveDays Pierre Bottineau Parade attendees stay cool.

Credit union staffers and family teamed up to distribute some5,000 ice-cold bottles of water, branded with TopLine's logo, toTwin Cities residents enjoying the parade. In addition, youngfamily members of TopLine staff handed out bubble bottles and candyto the children at the parade.

Over 15,000 gathered along a one-and-a-half mile route to watchthe 113-unit parade, billed as one of the largest parades in theTwin Cities suburban community. “We are very excited to haveparticipated as a Gold Leaf Sponsor of this year's Maple Grove Dayscelebration,” said Diane Welter, marketing and communicationsmanager for TopLine. “The energy surrounding this event is atestament to the strength of this vital, growing community, and oursponsorship was a perfect complement to the credit union philosophyof community-wide involvement. And when you're handing out 2 tonsof ice-cold water from a refrigerated truck on a 94-degree day, itgoes without saying that we were indeed a very popular item!”
