HEATH, Ohio – Hopewell Federal Credit Union and Skyline Chili have teamed up to serve up a spicy member appreciation event. As a way to thank its members, Hopewell FCU invited Skyline Chili to serve complimentary chili cheese coney dogs.
“We thank Skyline Chili for their cooperation. It's not often that you get a free coney dog when you enter a credit union lobby, but we are not just a typical credit union. This is another way that we provide personalized banking solutions to our members. We want to make our lobby experience a fun experience. Our members are not just another number to us so we thank them whenever we can,” said Hopewell Federal CU President/CEO Al Smith.
Some 100 coney dogs featuring Skyline's legendary Cincinnati chili and hot sauce recipe were served. Coupons for free Skyline chili cheese coney dogs were also handed out in the credit union's drive-thru.
Past Hopewell Federal lobby events have included free chair massages from Newark, Ohio-based New Day Spa and free bratwurst before the annual Ohio State-Michigan football game.
