LAKEWOOD, N.J. – Marketing solutions provider Credit Union Virtual Assistant is doing its part to help credit unions reach out to members by showing the credit union difference.
CUVA has recently launched creditunionnewsletter.com, a financial literacy newsletter program that focuses on providing important financial information that members really want, in a way that's easy to understand and absorb.
"A newsletter is an under-used marketing tool, and its power has too often been underestimated," said CUVA CEO Laura Enock. "A credit union newsletter should be a financial publication, not the publication of a financial institution. CreditUnionNewsletters.com enables credit unions to do exactly that."

CUVA is also developing Case Studies of Real-Life, Successful Credit Union Marketing, a report that lists and analyzes marketing campaigns that produced successful results.
"Not award winning marketing initiatives, but marketing efforts that met-or exceeded-the goals they were meant to achieve-in a single resource," said Enock. "By understanding what works, by studying the past successes of other credit unions, credit union marketers will be more likely to conduct a successful campaign."
Slated for release on Aug. 31, exceptional campaign success stories are still being accepted. Categories include public relations, direct mail, postcards, new member campaigns, auto loan campaigns and real estate lending.
To participate, detailed descriptions of the marketing strategy that met or exceeded the CU goals should be sent via e-mail to [email protected] Marketers should include their name and title, credit union name, what was being marketed, background information, details of the campaign and the results.
Credit unions that participate in the report will receive a free copy.
