LOWELL, Mass. – The iPod helped make Jeanne D'Arc Credit Union's eStatement promotion a success. Positioned as a way to help members reduce the risk of identity theft by eliminating paper mailed statements the JDCU eStatement registrations have increased 88%, resulting in annual savings of $10,000 a year for the credit union. Not only did one lucky JDCU member get an iPod, but an internal raffle also resulted in a staffer also winning one. "This was such a successful promotion for JDCU members and employees", said JDCU President/CEO Paul R. Mayotte. "With the rising cost of postage and the increasing risk of identity theft today, eStatements provide the essential security and peace of mind that members can rely on."
