LAS VEGAS – Credit union members of CU Direct will have the opportunity to network with each other, hear from CU and auto industry experts, meet with suppliers and attend educational and networking sessions during CU Direct's 8th Annual Auto Lending Symposium being held June 14-16. The three-day event is being held at The Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas and will provide attendees with tools to help them build effective strategies and tactics to build their indirect lending portfolio. Among the list of keynote speakers are well-known names such as Archie Manning, who was named NFL's Most Valuable Player in 1978; and Patrick Adams, a 25-year CU industry veteran including serving for more than 15 years as executive vice president of St. Louis Community CU. Also expected to speak to attendees are Tom Webb, chief economist, Manheim; and Bob Kurilko, vice president of corporate strategy, Edmunds.com.

Some of the topics that will be covered in scheduled sessions are loan servicing and collections, understanding the Hispanic marketplace, effective cross-selling to new members, and current and future technology in the auto lending industry.

Credit unions will also gain insight on how to work more effectively with dealers in their community.
