FAIRBANKS, Alaska – Alaska USA Federal Credit Union has opened the doors to its new Financial Center here. The 52,000 square-foot Financial Center currently includes a full-service branch office and the offices of Alaska USA Mortgage Company. The building will also be the future home of its business and commercial lending offices as well as Alaska USA Insurance Brokers. "The Fairbanks Financial Center allows Alaska USA to expand and further enhance service to the Fairbanks community," said Alaska USA FCU President Bill Eckhardt. "By mid-summer, the new Financial Center will provide access to consumer and business financial services, mortgages, and commercial and personal insurance all in one convenient location." The credit union has had a branch presence in Fairbanks for over 30 years and currently has four branches, a mortgage company office and an insurance brokerage office in Fairbanks. The credit union also has a branch in the North Pole and on Eielson AFB.
