BURNSVILLE, Minn. – US Federal Credit Union has walked away from the CUNA Marketing and Business Development Diamond Awards and the CUES Golden Mirror Awards ceremonies a 10-time winner.
Receiving seven Diamond Awards from CUNA, USFCU won first place in the Membership Packets/Brochures category with a new series of brochures detailing the credit union's eligibility requirements for membership and products and services. USFCU also took first place honors in the Segmented Marketing, Statement Inserts and Print Ad (Single) categories. Merit awards were earned in the Direct Mail Series and Single categories along with the Newsletters (four color).
With its yearly report resembling an original ledger documenting USFCU's first minutes and its "Hollywood Cowboys" symposium event, USFCU took second place Golden Mirror honors in the Annual Report and Public relations categories respectively. A Merit Award in the Print Ad (Single) category was also presented for the credit union's home equity loan newspaper advertisement that featured a sitting dog and the tag line "stay."

In both competitions, entries are judged on a variety of factors including creativity, production quality, strategy and planning. In addition, some entries required tabulated results demonstrating the campaign's effectiveness and success based on outlined objectives.
