CENTRAL ISLIP, N.Y. – Bethpage Federal Credit Union and minor league baseball's Long Island Ducks are gearing up to make the 2006 season's three millionth fan have an experience of a lifetime.
To kick off the celebration Bethpage FCU will present one lucky fan with a $5,000 check and a commemorative "Three Millionth Fan" official Ducks jersey.
In addition, the winner will enjoy such rewards as a walk down a red carpet complete with confetti as he or she enters the ballpark, being a part of pregame festivities on the field, being featured on the Ducks Web site on the Pic of the Day page and tossing the ceremonial first pitch to Ducks co-owner and coach Bud Harrelson.
