HARRISBURG, Pa. – A television commercial designed to educate Pennsylvania credit union members and the public at large about the benefits of shared branching has won an award. The Telly Awards are meant to "honor outstanding local, regional, and cable television commercials and programs," according to The Creative Group, a marketing firm which is the awards central sponsor. The Triscari Group, the advertising agency which crafted the ad, won the award for a television ad sponsored by the Pennsylvania Credit Union Service Centers and five Pittsburgh area CUs. The ad uses a network of lines running between the shared branching "swirl" brand to introduce the notion of connection between branching and then shifts those lines into a hammock in which a cartoon character relaxes to indicate the campaign's "just relax" theme. The five Pittsburgh area CUs which helped sponsor the ad are the A-K Valley FCU, the Clearview FCU, Omega FCU, Pittsburgh Central FCU and the WEST-AIRCOMM FCU.
