KENT, Ohio – Kent Credit Union is helping to bring a touch of Broadway to Theodore Roosevelt High School. Teaming up with the Rough Rider Association, which raises funds to purchase sports equipment for the high school, the credit union is sponsoring the national touring company performance of Late Nite Catechism 2. "We have contracted with a New York company to present the same professional production of this one-woman show that theatre-goers in Cleveland, New York and around the country experience", Rough Riders Vice Chairman Pam Marshall said. "Because of the rising cost of programs, school groups have been forced to find new and unique methods of raising funds for worthy programs. This will be a win-win situation for school sports and the community which will get professional theater at a discounted price while supporting local athletes". The playwright, Maripat Donovan, who originated the role of "Sister" in the original "Late Nite Catechism", and toured in it internationally, also wrote "Late Nite Catechism 2″. It will star Colleen Moore of New York City and carries the tongue-in-cheek slogan, "Sometimes we feel guilty because we are guilty." To raise additional funds, gift baskets created by each sports team will be raffled off.
