RIVERSIDE, Calif. – In keeping with the educator tradition, local Victoria Elementary School Principal Jacqueline Hall has been selected to serve the remainder of Doug Huckaby's term. Her school was recently recognized by the state of California as a Distinguished School. Hall has been with the Riverside Unified School District since 1995 and previously spent 11 years with the Moreno Valley Unified School District. In 2005, Hall received the NAACP's Outstanding Educator Award, and in 2004, she received the Golden Eagle Education Award. Hall holds a master's degree in education from Azusa Pacific University and a bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University, San Bernardino.
