CORVALLIS, Ore. – So far 2006 is a banner one for brass|CU Young today. Rich tomorrow, the customizable quarterly magazine written by and for young adults 18-25 years old. Not only are there now a record 118 credit union subscribers in 33 states, but also the February issue currently reaches 210,000 readers – representing a 60,000-70,000 jump in circulation from November 2005. In addition, the Corvallis Area Chamber of Commerce recently presented 22-year old brass|Media Inc., Founder/CEO Bryan Sims the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. First launched in February 2004, brass|CU magazine focuses on the young adult lifestyle while providing a fresh, fun take on money-how to make it, manage it and multiply it. This month's cover story features Dave Lieberman, the youngest chef to have his own show on the Food Network. Lieberman has been on Good Morning America, Martha Stewart Living, and was ranked one of the "50 Hottest Bachelors" by People magazine.
