HOLLISTER, Calif. – Last year proved to be a great one for brand strategy and creative design firm Redbeard Communications. The company announced that 2005 was marked with significant growth and a record-breaking number of industry awards. Redbeard designed 32 award-winning projects in 2005, many of them on behalf of its work for Hollywood, California.-based First Entertainment Credit Union. First Entertainment’s marketing materials received 17 awards, sweeping two divisions, taking first, second and third place in both the coordinated campaign and point of sale categories and the Best of Show award at the annual CUES 2005 Golden Mirror Awards. The credit union also received ten awards for Redbeard’s marketing materials, during the Marketing Association of Credit Union’s 20th Annual Banquet and Awards Ceremony. Additionally, Redbeard received four first place awards and second place at the annual Services Industry Advertising Awards for its design work in the financial industry. To further enhance its offerings, Redbeard and Seattle-based Ingeniux Corporation, a provider of XML-based Web content management software, have teamed up to develop economical, well-designed, highly functional Web sites for credit unions.
