FORT WORTH, Texas – Unity One Federal Credit Union is proving to Fossil Ridge High School students that it can literally "pay" to go to school. In an effort to promote perfect attendance, the $110 million credit union has teamed with the high school to provide cash rewards to those students who come to school regularly. Every nine weeks, students with perfect attendance will have their names entered into a drawing for a cash prize of $50. The drawing is held at the end of each term at Fossil Ridge. There are eight lucky students that walk away with $50, two from each grade: ninth through twelfth. "The contest is designed to encourage students to come to school everyday in order to better prepare themselves for their futures after high school, whether it may be at a college, technical school or joining the workforce. We plan to continue our partnership with Fossil Ridge and show our support for teens in the area," said Unity One FCU President/CEO Gary R. Williams.
