DALLAS – With more consumers looking to organizations that deliver on the message of social responsibility, Texans Credit Union has scored big by being featured on the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas' Web site for its fundraising efforts. In 2005 the $1.5 billion credit union raised over $160,000 for the United Way and was presented the United Way Outstanding Campaign Achievement award. United Way of Metropolitan Dallas is a locally incorporated volunteer-led non-profit organization that raises charitable contributions to invest in programs and services that deliver measurable results in changing lives and building stronger communities. Through a partnership with Collin County United Way, Greater Lewisville United Way and Rockwall County, United Way of Metropolitan Dallas supports agencies across North Texas.
