WALLINGFORD, Conn. – SmartSource Solutions, LLC, a wholly owned CUSO of Constitution Corporate Federal Credit Union, has designed First Bristol FCU's new Web site (www.firstbristol.org). First Bristol wanted to add Web site tools that would promote greater interaction with its members. The site has many new features, including multi-faceted mortgage, loan, auto and savings calculators in addition to SmartSource's Marketing Message Module (M3). "We feel the easiest way to convey that a site has changed is to change a visual element," said Mike Pennell, executive director of SmartSource Solutions. "Our M3 serves two purposes; first, it fulfills the need to convey that a site has been updated and it promotes new products." SmartSource Solutions' customized content management enables the CU's staff to control much of the content and functionality of the site. The system has the ability to accommodate multiple administrators allowing First Bristol to securely disseminate the responsibility of updating specific business units responsible for them. "First Bristol is our 35th Connecticut client," said Pennell. "We have worked hard to make each credit union site in Connecticut look different than another – this is the challenge that makes designing so enjoyable for us. We have several other sites currently in design stages." Established in 2001, SmartSource Solutions currently has over 135 natural person and corporate credit union clients in over 34 states.
