ARLINGTON, Va.-NAFCU recently announced that it has put the latest technology to use for its online conference registration system. Working with PlanNet, experts in delivering the latest technology for meeting attendees, NAFCU introduced a new, streamlined registration system that gives meeting attendees the option to register via a personalized e-mail that directs registrants to the appropriate registration portion of NAFCU's Web site. Users will also be able to register for their hotel on the same Web site. "We wanted to make the registration process easy and efficient for those who want to attend our events," NAFCU Executive Vice President Diane Swenson said. "Participants can now manage their own registration, including changes with one click of the mouse." PlanNet President Pete Hanley said, "NAFCU's instructions to us were to use our skills to develop a user-friendly registration system with the end-user in mind. We have worked with NAFCU many months to create this system. I know NAFCU's members and other attendees will be very pleased." In addition, participants may pay by share-draft instead of only credit cards. The new registration system is now up and running for NAFCU's Security Workshop, Lending & Collection Strategies conference, Regulatory Compliance School and CEOs Conference and within the next month will cover all of NAFCU's conferences.
