PORT HURON, Mich. – E&A Credit Union has broken ground on anew 33,900 square-foot headquarters. “It has been the dream of ourcredit union to be able to grow with our membership in order toprovide them with more services and conveniences for their dailyfinancial life,” said E&A Credit Union President/CEO JaniceRose. “This building will help us accomplish that mission.” Roseadded that the facility will go a long way toward the rejuvenationof downtown Port Huron's economy by creating new positions andawarding construction bids to local tradesmen. Tapping Anchorville,Michigan-based design/build firm Thompson-Phelan for the project,the new headquarters will house administrative personnel; astate-of-the-art, full service lobby and drive-through tellerstations, as well as a large community room on the lower level. Theproject is expected to be completed in the fall of 2006.
