ST. LOUIS – Vantage Credit Union has teamed up with local television affiliate Fox 2 and Catholic Charities to collect and distribute warm clothing to make the holidays a little brighter for those in need. To encourage last-minute donations to the charity drive, Tim Ezell, morning anchor at Fox 2, hosted a slumber party at the Bedroom Store in Bridgeton. Vantage CU representatives, and Agent RedFox (kids club mascot), donated pajamas and presented a $2,500 check to the cause. All 11 Vantage Credit Union branches served as drop-off points for clothing and toy donations that were collected by Catholic Charities. The clothing and toy donations were included in the credit union's annual Holiday Giving Campaign. In addition, each year Vantage CU teams up with the St. Louis Cardinals to collect and distribute new gifts to children from 16 local agencies at their Annual Cardinals Care Christmas Party.
