SAN DIEGO – One of CUSO Financial Services' representatives has been named among the top 50 financial advisors for 2005 by Bank Investment Consultant magazine. Chuck Prather, a 20-year veteran in the financial services industry, received the #28 ranking based on his 2005 production figures, CUSO Financial Services (CFS) reported. Prather is a CFS registered representative and financial advisor for $1.5 billion Bellco CU in Denver. His efforts in serving the CU's members resulted in production of nearly $706,000 in revenue through the third quarter of 2005, CFS reported. He serves more than 1,300 member clients with $87 million in assets under management. The top performing reps are selected on the basis of their production and overall effectiveness in helping their financial institution achieve improved performance, according to CFS. This includes the ability to train and coach branch personnel and to cross-refer business to other departments. "His commitment to service and attention to detail sets his practice apart," said Cynthia Pollard, program manager of Bellco Credit Union's investment program. "Sometimes it's the little things like publishing educational newsletters and articles or hand writing thank you cards and holding client appreciation events that make a difference."
