RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. – CU Direct has named Phil Maniaci asvice president of sales and operations for the CUSO's new EasternDivision. Maniaci has been with CU Direct since November 2003working as regional director, managing the CUSO's marketdevelopment in the northeastern U.S. The Eastern Division includesCU Direct's Northeast, Mid Atlantic, Southeast and Midwest BusinessUnits, spanning 28 states. CU Direct's Northern California,Southwest, Northwest, South Central, Mountain States and WestCentral Business Units remain under the leadership of JohnCarrington, vice president sales and operations for the WesternDivision. The restructure was effective Nov. 1. CU Direct's JerryNeemann, senior vice president and COO, said by making the changesCU Direct feels it will strengthen its sales and operations teamand make them more effective in the CUSO's expandingmarketplace.
