SAN DIEGO – Symitar President Bruce Cormode resigned fromSymitar this year due to health problems. Cormode first went onleave, but he determined he needed to permanently leave the companyand focus on his health. Parent company Jack Henry & Associatessaid there would always be a place for Cormode should he want toreturn to the company some day. Cormode has led Symitar sinceco-founder Manny Prupes passed away in 2000. Cormode was replacedby Kathy Hooker, a long-time Symitar sales executive.
