LATHAM, N.Y. – The New York State Credit Union has partnered with global management consulting and best practice research firm Virtual CEO Consulting Group to bring state-of-the-art Internet assessment tools and innovative planning processes to member credit unions at a reduced rate. According to the NYSCUL, participating credit unions will experience a facilitated planning process with a well-informed consultant who is familiar with the CU, their loan marketplace and surrounding areas. The assessment tool will help increase board, management and key staff's understanding of business strategies, corporate disciplines and how they measure up to their competitors. League strategists working with Virtual CEO will help credit unions advance their strategic capabilities and quicken their planning process. The NYSCUL said credit unions will gain perspective on what is working and what needs attention in order to enhance the effectiveness of their credit unions. By working with the League and the Virtual CEO products, the NYSCUL said CUs can identify and leverage their uniqueness in what has become an intensely competitive financial services market.
