MECHANICSBURG, Pa. - AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union andCentral Pennsylvania College have teamed up to open a CUstudent-run branch in January 2006. The branch is slated to be openthree days a week for the students' convenience. There will also bean AmeriChoice ATM located inside Central Pennsylvania College forstudents' use. The branch will be staffed by Central PennsylvaniaCollege students. "We feel that we are a great match with CentralPennsylvania College. We are very excited to extend our partnershipthrough the student-run credit union," said Toni Montgomery,community relations coordinator. "This gives students not only theconvenience of having a credit union on campus, but also theopportunity to develop financial knowledge." This marks the secondAmeriChoice student-run branch. In October 2004, AmeriChoice openeda student-run branch in East Pennsboro High School.
