MECHANICSBURG, Pa. - AmeriChoice Federal Credit Union and Central Pennsylvania College have teamed up to open a CU student-run branch in January 2006. The branch is slated to be open three days a week for the students' convenience. There will also be an AmeriChoice ATM located inside Central Pennsylvania College for students' use. The branch will be staffed by Central Pennsylvania College students. "We feel that we are a great match with Central Pennsylvania College. We are very excited to extend our partnership through the student-run credit union," said Toni Montgomery, community relations coordinator. "This gives students not only the convenience of having a credit union on campus, but also the opportunity to develop financial knowledge." This marks the second AmeriChoice student-run branch. In October 2004, AmeriChoice opened a student-run branch in East Pennsboro High School.
