SSFCU Marketing Wins Accolades

SAN ANTONIO – Security Service Federal Credit Union (SSFCU) has walked away from the Texas Credit Union League Marketing Conference with 10 awards. The Texas Lone Star Awards recognize credit unions for their excellence in credit union marketing, public relations, and business development. SSFCU was cited for its strong marketing strategies, its corporate citizenship, and for setting a standard of excellence in the credit union industry. Award winners were selected based on how well each entry met its objectives, budget, and overall strategies. SSFCU competed among 68 Texas credit unions and against more than 360 entries and won awards for retail merchandising/branding, youth marketing, print advertising/inserts, brochures, marketing campaigns, public relations, special events and video production. “We are delighted to see our team of communications professionals honored for their excellent work,” said SSFCU Senior Vice President of Corporate Communications John Worthington. “Their efforts have contributed significantly to the credit union’s success and its positive reputation in the community.”
