MORENO VALLEY, Calif. – March Community Credit Union has geared up new programs to reach out to younger members. The credit union has recently rolled out its Radar Redtail and Talon Teen accounts. Both accounts require no membership fee to join and only a $5 minimum deposit to open. Available to those up to age 12, Radar Redtail accounts encourage savings by offering Radar Bucks awards for every dollar deposited into the Radar account. "Radar Bucks can then be redeemed at March Community CU for special prizes. Talon accounts are available for youth ages 13-18. When Talon members turn 16 they are then eligible for a checking account and ATM/VISA debit card. "We are very pleased to be able to offer our youth accounts. It is our goal to teach our youth the importance of saving money and money management at as early an age as possible in order to help best prepare them for their financial futures," said March Community CU President/CEO Bob Cameron. In addition to the youth accounts, March Community CU has unveiled a new mascot- Radar the fledgling Red Tailed Hawk. Radar will be introducing himself to the community at local events.
