DEL MAR, Calif. – Palm Springs is where credit union marketing professionals will meet next year for the Marketing Association of Credit Unions’ 20th Annual Conference and Awards Ceremony. Slated to be held May 24-26, 2006 at the Marriott Desert Springs Resort and Spa, the conference will feature some top-notch speakers in the credit union and marketing industries: Topics will range from “Internal Branding: The Little Things You Do Are More Important than the Big Things You Say” and “Marketing Strategies of the Top 100 CUs” to “Better Oddity than Commodity” and “Gaining Commitment and Motivating Employees: A Marketer’s Dilemma”. MAC will also be conducting a compensation and benefit survey of CU marketing professionals across the country over the next six months with the results to be shared during a special “Money Matters: An In-Depth Look at CU Marketing Compensation Trends” session in Palm Springs. The “cream” of the credit union marketing crop will also be recognized at the conference during the MAC Annual Awards Ceremony. Conference registration will be available on December 15, 2005.
