NORTHFIELD, N.J. – Jersey Shore Federal Credit Union has joined forces with credit unions from across New Jersey to raise much needed relief funds for those devastated by Hurricane Katrina. During the first week of fundraising, close to $1,000 was collected and the credit union has announced it will be matching the first $5,000 raised. All donations will go to the National Disaster Relief Fund of National Credit Union Foundation, which will distribute the funds where the need is greatest.
