American First Credit Union, La Habra, Calif., has announced its five $1,000 college scholarship winners. This year's recipients include Nicole Paine, Paul Nguyenfa, Diane Lu, Michele Banares and Heather Adams. The five students stood out for their academic achievement and potential, career goals, character, leadership, community involvement and social awareness. Michigan First Credit Union, Livonia, has helped a number of local high school seniors get a financial boost toward their college education. The credit union has deserving students one-time $750 scholarships.
