METAIRIE, La. - Louisiana Corporate CU CEO David Savoie is set to earn a few more stripes. Savoie, who spent a year away from the corporate to work at the Pentagon during the military's Operation Enduring Freedom campaign, is currently a Navy reservist with the rank of First Class Petty Officer. He is now training to move up to Chief Petty Officer. "It involves an in-ship simulator where you fix leaks where compartments are flooding," said Savoie, as well as a host of other exercises. Savoie's specialty is in intelligence. From late '02 to late '03 he worked at the Pentagon in an intelligence position.
