CFE FCU Hosts FCUL Homebuyer’s Expo ORLANDO, Fla. – Rising property values in the Orlando area to record rates have made real estate a popular subject among Central Florida residents, and they came last month to listen to a panel of experts discuss home buying-related issues at the Florida Credit Union League Chapter Homebuyers’ Expo hosted by CRE FCU. Over 100 members from CFE FCU and four area credit unions attended the event on July 21 that was held at the Orlando Science Center. The four CUs included Fairwinds CU, Insight Financial CU, Orlando FCU and Vista FCU. Among the topics addressed by the panelists were understanding your credit report, working with a realtor, home inspections and appraisals, homeowners’ insurance and private mortgage insurance. Kristen Beall, host and executive producer of Home Talk Television which airs on WRDQ Action TV 27, served as the local celebrity at the event. Beall is also a licensed Building Contractor. CFE FCU has over 109,000 members and more than $900 million in assets.
