LOWELL, Mass. – Message Secure Corp. is now offering its client credit unions and community banks a Web-based reporting console that provides timely access to security and compliance information. Called Compliance Center, it's a core component of the company's VSecurity managed security service that collects critical information generated by the service's various components – such as firewalls, spam filters and anti-virus screens – and presents them in an easy-to-navigate Web application with graphical and text elements, the company says. "We developed Compliance Center to capture and consolidate various sources of security information in a tool suitable for both day-to-day IT management purposes as well as to meet audit and board needs. With data management incidents at an all-time high, these are vital to support any financial institution's security effort," Cary Conrad, founder and CEO of Message Secure (www.messagesecure.com). The service is being offered at no additional charge to existing VSecurity clients, the company says.
