LAKEWOOD, N.J. – Credit Union’s Virtual Assistant (CUVA) has recently appointed Ed Steinberg, Ph.D., as the new editor-in-chief of 80/20 Marketing. Steinberg earned his Ph.D. in economics from New York University and currently teaches a course titled, “Tracking the U.S. Economy” in NYU’s M.A. program in economics. From 1993 to 2002, he served as staff director at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, writing and editing educational publications on banking and economics. Earlier in his career, he worked as an economist for AT&T and the U.S. Commerce Department’s Bureau of Economic Analysis, the agency that produces the nation’s Gross Domestic Product figures. He has also held full-time teaching positions at Quinnipiac and Shippensburg Universities. “I’m thrilled to have Ed on board, and am grateful to our subscribers that we’ve reached the level where we can bring on top talent,” said Laura Enock, CEO of CUVA and publisher of 80/20 Marketing. “Ed will lead our team as we continue to provide the credit union industry with the information and tools it needs to successfully market its services by working less yet achieving more.” CUVA was created to help credit unions of all sizes accomplish more with the resources they already have.
