MANCHESTER, N.H. – Effective July 1, Cathedral Credit Union will be known as Compass Credit Union. According to Compass CU President John Gunther, the new name better reflects the credit union's mission of providing financial direction to a diverse membership. The new tagline: Pointing You in the Right Direction, also reinforces the credit union's position as a resource to help improve the financial well-being of its members. "It's very appropriate that we incorporated Compass into our name and our logo. After all, we want to offer guidance to our members as they make financial choices throughout their lives," Gunther said. In addition to the name change the credit union will also offer three new products: home banking and bill pay for member convenience and relationship banking to provide an incentive for members to have more than one account.
