OSWEGO, Ill. – Earthmover Credit Union Marketing Director Nick Mores has recently won the Marketing Professional of the Year award in the category of Illinois credit unions with assets of more than $50 million from the Illinois Council of CUES. His honor was part of a group of surprise awards established by the Illinois Council of CUES to recognize outstanding credit union professionals based on their individual merit. Mores has worked in the credit union industry for over four years and as a graduate of Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois he earned his first marketing position as the marketing assistant at NuMark Credit Union in Joliet, Illinois. During this time he was also the Illinois Youth Involvement Council Representative and Webmaster for the Will County Chapter of Credit Unions. In December of 2002 he took on a new position as the marketing director at Earthmover CU and joined the Aurora Chapter of Credit Unions and held the position of Illinois Cooperative Advertising Reaches Everyone (ICARE) Representative and Webmaster for two years. During 2004, Mores' marketing efforts helped Earthmover to exceed its asset and loan growth goals. His major accomplishment last year was bringing the complete marketing function in-house. Overall, this change provided for improved marketing results and cost savings to the credit union.
