WASHINGTON – Most credit unions look to federal agency securities as their investment of choice, comprising 41.6% of the industry's average composition. In a distant second were corporates followed by banks, and savings and loans, according to Callahan & Associates, Inc. Credit unions were least likely to invest in mutual funds and cash equivalents.
