Mid-Atlantic FCU Celebrates New HQ

GERMANTOWN, Md. – Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union has recently celebrated the opening of its new headquarters and expanded Germantown branch. With an open invitation sent to the community, the credit union’s grand opening week-long festivities included specials such as “90 days no payments” on new auto loans and offering the first box of checks free for any new checking account that was opened. MAFCU provided refreshments, games for the children and prize drawings throughout. Various gift certificates and a special grand prize of a $1,000 deposit were awarded. The lucky grand prize winner was able to choose from any of MAFCU’s savings products including its special “Odd-Term Share Certificate”. The new building provides a drive-thru teller window, a drive-thru ATM, a night depository, and a 24-hour walk up ATM inside the building.
