GWFCU Launches High Tech, High Touch Branch

PENSACOLA, Fla. – Gulf Winds Federal Credit Union has opened the doors to its new corporate branch. The over 10,000 square-foot facility provides financial services with “high-tech” amenities. About twice the size of the old branch the facility includes several technical improvements including internal cash dispensers and video monitors for the six-lane drive thru. “One of the problems we had in the past was if we had a member in a far outside lane, communication was difficult at times. They were yelling back and forth through the microphone. If you can see someone face to face it’s much easier to communicate,” said GWFCU President/CEO Chris Rutledge. Two drive-up ATMs also helps satisfy the needs of members needing cash “on-the-go”. The welcoming interior includes a children’s play area to keep kids occupied while parents conduct their business. Children can have fun coloring, playing with toys or sitting back in a bean bag to watch a video.
