EL PASO, Texas – GECU board members, employees, U.S. Congressman Silvestre Reyes (D-Texas), officials from the El Paso Chamber of Commerce and Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and volunteers from Ysleta, Franklin and Canutillo High Schools helped GECU celebrate the grand opening of its newest full-service facility on El Paso’s far West side. The new facility will serve member living or working within a 25-mile radius. “This is a significant occasion for GECU. We are reaching out to people who want to be members/owners of their financial institution and we are serving people in a major growth area in El Paso,” said GECU President/CEO Harriet May.
