HARRISBURG, Pa. - The Pennsylvania Credit Union Association has chosen the theme for its 2005 statewide advertising campaign (SNAP). The theme for this year's campaign is "Building Strong Communities by Investing in You," and PCUA SVP Communications and Marketing Mike Wishnow said it's intended to demonstrate credit unions' commitment in servicing their communities through their members. The theme will be featured on hundreds of billboards throughout Pennsylvania starting October 1. PCUA will also continue to use radio and TV through sponsorship of "Traffax" traffic reports. In addition, the campaign will advertise on the "Penn State Radio Network" during the 2005 football season. The advertising package includes 30-second radio spots, program advertising, and links to the GoPSUsports.com Web site. Also as part of that package, PCUA will receive a pair of tickets to every 2005 Penn State football game at Beaver Stadium. The Association will hold a drawing to decide who the tickets should be awarded to among credit unions that contributed to the SNAP campaign by June 1. Lastly, in addition to the regular season tickets, a grand prize drawing will be held for a pair of tickets to the "Penn State Sports Sponsor Box" for the Penn State-South Florida game at Beaver Stadium on Sept. 3. The grand prize drawing will be held June 8.
