LAS VEGAS – Attendees at the 2005 NACUSO Annual Conference which will be held May 7-May 11, will get to hear from renowned guest speakers and attend general and breakout sessions. However they won't learn who the association's new president is. Former president Bob Dorsa stepped down from the position last year as part of NACUSO's restructuring into a collaborative CUSO business model. Vic Pantea, president/CEO, Members Gateways LLC has served as acting president since Jan. 1, 2005. Pantea told Credit Union Times the NACUSO Board planned to meet the week after the conference to discuss some changes in the "structural environment" of the association to reflect its new business model. He said the board would announce who the new president is "not long after the annual meeting, probably several weeks afterwards."
